O.C. Coastkeeper is offering free presentations to such organizations on the Marine Life Protection Act and Marine Protected Areas (MPA).  Our goal is to absorb your input on the scope and size of the proposed southern California MPA.
 
Where are the best coastal fishing spots? 
 
What areas are most precious to Inland Empire residents??
 
Coastkeeper is also searching for coastal "old-timers" to develop a Story Bank of historic memories in order to piece together what our coastal resources were once like.

  • Comments were sent on the Mid-County Parkway listing our concerns for preserving water quality and stating our lack of support - MORE HERE 
  • Three scrapyards continue to be investigated for illicit industrial discharges to surface waters. 
  • Four River KATS field trips are scheduled in February to the Prado Wetlands!
